This pattern is for a knitted and felted sea turtle, which will measure approximately 13” long. It uses one skein each of Patons Classic Wool in Leaf Green and Forest . You will also need straight and double point size 9 knitting needles, polyester fiberfill and two 12mm safety eyes. Gauge is not critical but your knitting should be loose to allow for felting. Other yarns may be used but please knit and felt a test swatch first.

Pattern is for advanced beginner knitters and assumes knowledge of the following techniques: knit (k), purl (p), increase (inc), decrease/knit 2 together. Some experience in soft toy construction is helpful but not necessary.
