What is a diplocaulus? A prehistoric amphibian about 3' long - think of a giant newt with a big wedge shaped head and an eel-like tail. This one is much more cuddly, measuring about 22" long. It is handknit from green wool, hot water felted and filled with polyester fiberfill. Great for the paleontologist or otherwise geeky scientist.
