This pattern is for a knitted and felted Brontosaurus Dinosaur. It uses two skeins Patons Classic Wool in your choice of color, and is knitted on size 9 needles. Gauge is not important but knitting should be loose to allow for felting. You will also need 2 9mm safety eyes and polyester fiberfill. The completed dino will be about 22” long after felting. Other 100% wool yarns may be used, but please do a test swatch to confirm feltability; use of other yarns may affect the final size of your dino.

This pattern is written for advanced knitters and assumes knowledge of the following techniques: knit (k), purl (p), increase (inc), decrease/knit 2 tog (k2tog), knitting in the round, and short row shaping/wrap and turn in the round. Some experience with soft toy construction is also helpful.
