This pattern is for a knitted and felted Stegosaurus Dinosaur. It will be about 20” long when completed. The pattern uses about 1.25 skeins of Patons Classic Wool for the body color, plus a second skein in a contrast color for the spikes.

You will also need size 9 straight and double point needles, polyester fiberfill and two 9mm safety eyes. Gauge is not critical but your knitting should be loose to allow for felting.

Pattern is for intermediate to advanced knitters; knowledge of knit (k), purl (p), increase (inc), decrease/k2tog, short row shaping/wrap and turn (w/t) and knitting in the round is a prerequisite. Previous experience in soft toy construction is helpful but not mandatory.
